I have always believed in listening to my heart and following my passions. Life is all about balance. Physical activity and healthy living are two notions that have always been at the center of my drive. I love food and all the nutritional wisdom that goes along with it. In growing up with a father who has been a chef for 30 years and a mother who was always cooking family meals, I learned my way around the kitchen quickly. My thirst for integrating satisfying yet healthy meals to achieve physical and mental wellness is what has led me to where I am today.I graduated from UMass Boston with a Bachelors Degree in Exercise and Health Science in 2009. I had run two marathons and exercise has always been a daily regimen for me; yet, I still had this feeling of unfulfillment. After I graduated, I moved to New York City and amidst this city of great experience and wild energy, I also witnessed the unbalance of the modern stressful lifestyle. That is what led me to the idea of the holistic approach to living. The idea that to attain balance and happiness we must address all of the components that comprise us. When I returned home to Boston, I was certified as a yoga instructor and made a strong connection to my spiritual self. In the learning process, I came to realize, exercise is one of those components but now a whole new world was introduced to me that incorporated so much more- nourishing the mind, body and spirit. I received my training from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, where I studied a variety of dietary theories and practical lifestyle coaching methods. With my knowledge, we co-create completely personalized actions based on your goals to move you toward your ideal vision of health within your unique body, lifestyle, preferences, and resources. I want to share the joy of healthy living with the people around me and contribute my knowledge and skills to people in need of changes in their lifestyles. Are you curious about how health coaching can help you?
